Need to Reset PIX 515E to new / default

I have an old PIX 515E that was taken out of storage. We want to use it in the lab, but no one can remember the login name or password or IP. Is there a way to set to default and start over?

yes, you need to reset the password to eventually get into the device to set it to factory defaults.

after you reset the password

go to config mode of pix to reset to factory defaults

e.i

pix(config)#configure factory-default
