ASDM wont load

Hi,

Trying to load ASDM on a new ASA5550. I've done so far the stuff which is listed in the manual. Settings posted are default.

I can ping the ASA.

Plugged to the Managamenet0/0:

interface Management0/0

nameif management

security-level 100

ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0

management-only

http server enable

http 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 management

And my management PC also get an IP in this range.

It still looks that a HTTPS request is blocked or something by the ASA.

AES/DES Licence looks also good.

And the file is located on the disk:

asdm image disk0:/asdm-613.bin

Any idea why my ASDM wont load? (its not the browser or java)

Try ASDM 6.1.5(57)

The first problem was more my own dumbness, i had set a proxy in my browser...

but upgrading to the new version solved the problem i had as next :)

also keeping your java at release 6 update 7 will let it work with older versions of the ASDM if upgrading isn't possible.
