Restarting Cisco CallManager service on 6.1.3(a)

When you restart the CCM service on a Publisher and all the Subscriber, does that cause the phones or any other equipment to reset as well? I am loading the temporary DST patch in the morning and since we are a hospital I have to take exrta steps in my process if the phones reset.

yes, if your phones are not configured to failover to other cucm server they will reset as well. if that's the case even trying to change that requires you to reset phones so they download new config, so you cannot avoid it.

if your CUCM group is configured for failover simply wait until the phones fallback before restarting the next server.
