CVDM on CSS 11501

Hi there,

I'm having trouble accessing the CVDM on my CSS 11501. I'm just trying to set it up for the first time, so it has never worked before. I've followed the directions in the guide to install the CVDM software, and I have confirmed that it is loaded:

Version: sg0810106 (

Flash (Locked):

Flash (Operational):

Licensed Cmd Set(s): Standard Feature Set

CVDM Version: cvdm-css-1.0

I have also added the 'no restrict web-mgtm' command.

However, when I try and access the CVDM via http://<ip_address> my browser just spins. I have uninstalled all versions of java except for 1.4.2_08. My CSS uses Radius authentication by default, would that affect this?

Any help would be appreciated!

I have this problem too.

Depending on the version of CVDM that you installed, CVDM uses Telnet or SSH to make all configuration changes. By default, the CSS does not restrict access to Telnet or SSH sessions. But if you determine that the CSS is configured to restrict access for these sessions, use the no restrict telnet|ssh command to allow access.
