Migrating FWSM to multiple-context mode

Hi,

I run a production two-card FWSM cluster in single context mode (Active-Standby).

I'd like to use Active-Active configuration, that's why I need to move to multiple-context mode.

Do you know any migration procedure? I have two contexts license. I guess, the best way would be moving current configuration to the admin-context. Thank you in advance for your comments!

BR,

Mihails

Your FWSM might already be configured for multiple security contexts depending on how you ordered it from Cisco. If you are upgrading, however, you might need to convert from single mode to multiple mode by following the procedures here:

Hi,

Thank you, I've already discussed it with TAC support. The key issue is that current configuration moves to admin-context.

Migration is complete.

Thank you.
