Hello,
Does anyone know the most efficient way to configure a crash line on a analog phone, connected thru a vg224 analog gateway?? I know it's possible but I cannot seem to find any literature regarding it online. Maybe I'm not using the correct terminology "crash line" but essentially a line that when you pick it up it automatically dials another number, without requiring any user input.
Thanks for the help.

It's commonly called PLAR (Private Line Auto Ringdown). Configure connection plar XXX under voice-port.

How would that work when using an analog line thru an analog gateway?? Would it be the same as if i was configuring a voip phone for PLAR??

Yes, the configuration may be different but principle of operation is the same.
