No ip address

Hope someone can help? I upgraded my ios from c870-advipservicesk9-mz.124-15.T8.bin to c870-advipservicesk9-mz.124-22.T1.bin, as per the software advisor. When I reload the router I am unable to get an IP address from my ISP, if I go back to 124-15T8 everything works great. Does anyone have any ideas.

Possible software defect introduced in the later code. (Many enhancements added to 12.4.20T and 12.4.22T.) If you have maintenance, contact TAC. (If you don't need a later feature, you could also stay with 12.4.15T#.)


You might also try 12.4.24T.

Thank you for your reply, I do have a smartnet on this router. I will try the 12.4.24t and if that does not work I will call TAC.
