Hi,
what does it mean "no spanning-tree optimize bpdu transmission"? on switch 29xx switch?
What will happen if it is disable?

I think in this way the switch behaves normally by automatically relying BPDUs received on its root port out of all of its ports in forwarding state.(vlan specific)
the command is present in some command references of higher models like c6500.
I agree that is not well documented

Hello Anita,
this is a default and you should be fine without enabling it.
When enabled the command changes the way the switch treats the BPDUs regarding their propagation: the switch to optimize BPDU transmission can do something different from normal relay behaviour.
I didn't find it in command reference

I also cannot find it from cisco web site, it seems that it is undocument.
