LMS3.1 & RME4.2.0 Help needed: "Device sensed, but Inventory failed"

Hi to all! I've got troubles with RME4.2 and the inventory function. We got 502 devices successfull, and 26 are failed. These 26 devices have set the correct credentials in dcr and rme!

1) What else can i check on the failed devices?

2) Many of the failed models are C3550-Series, C2950G's and C35xx. So i think the problem isn't Model-dependend.

Any ideas how to solve the problem are welcomed!

Greetings SiZe

In order for inventory collection to work for 3550s, they must be running at least 12.1(19)EA1 code. In order for inventory collection to work for 2950s, they must be running 12.1(11)EA1 code. It is recommended to have all 2950s and 3550s on at least 12.1(19)EA1. Is this the case?

Thank you for your fast reply! You're right! I think we have to upgrade these devices to your recommended IOS Release.

I will do another post to confirm your statement!

Many Thanks
