Hello Armin,

you have a multivendor scenario

RIPv2 or VRRP are the possible options here

you can have RIPv2 running between the two routers and VRRP used to provide a virtual VIP to users in the lan segment.

see

for RIP

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/iproute/configuration/guide/irp_cfg_info_prot_ps6350_TSD_Products_Configuration_Guide_Chapter.html

for VRRP

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/ipapp/configuration/guide/ipapp_vrrp_ps6350_TSD_Products_Configuration_Guide_Chapter.html

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Thank you Giuseppe,

but the problem that Router ENTRASYS don't support VRRP

please help

Hello Georgeo,

does the entrasys support RIPv2 ?

you can make use of the ICMP redirect concept:

if cisco router receives traffic it has to send to the entrasys it sends an icmp redirect to the host so that traffic for this destination is sent directly to entrasys.

you can enable it on Cisco router interface with:

ip icmp redirect

then all hosts should use as default gateway the Cisco router.

Hope to help

Giuseppe

thank you Guiseppe

plz send me if you have some configuration example for ripv2 load-sharing
