Looking through the various conversations, it seems that for common phones (i.e. numbers/phones not assigned to a specific user) that a dummy user account is setup in AD, when the system is integrated with AD.
The question is, does this mean that a Windows Client Access Licence (CAL) needs to be purchased for this dummy user ?
As a lot of companies are looking at the cost of licences at the moment, I just wondered whether the setup of common phones needs to be given a bit more consideration, especially from a financial perspective.
