hello,

whenever i plug the console on the switch i get the following 3 line :

Mar 16 20:44:12.879: adjacency: ADJ: IP 172.16.9.193 Vlan8: request to add ARP

[OK]

Mar 16 20:44:12.879: adjacency: ADJ: IP 172.16.9.193 Vlan8: allocate [Ignr]

Mar 16 20:44:12.879: adjacency: ADJ: IP 172.16.9.193 Vlan8: request to update

[Ignr]

Does anyone has any idea what is that???

Dina,

It appears to be a debug of some sort running on your switch. You can find out which debugs are running by issuing the "show debug" command. It's generally not necessary to keep debugs constantly running on your switch, as this may cause some performance issues.
