Double password requests from ASA telnet access

I have an ASA 5520 running version 8.0(4). When I configure and enable TACACS+ authentication for telnet, I get prompted for password twice after I enter the username and after I type enable. It only requires that I type the password only once. I can just hit enter for the first password prompt and type the actual password after the second prompt. Not sure why it is behaving this way. I have not experienced that symptom and am not sure what would cause it. Perhaps you could post the config of the ASA and we might get some insight into the problem.
