Error occured to send email notification

Hi Experts,

I have encountered the below email error. Please advise.

Error occurred while attempting to send e-mail notification to

[ciscowork@ite.edu.sg].

Please verify the SMTP Server settings that you have entered in the

System Preferences page (Common Services > Server > Admin > System Preferences)..

Have you done this? Is the SMTP server allowing email relay from the LMS server? It might be helpful to get a sniffer trace of TCP port 25 traffic when trying to send a notification. That will highlight the underlying problem nicely.
