MARS reports based on CASE

Hi All,

I am looking at generating custom reports on the MARS to enable the following, but I'm not sure it can be done. Does anyone have experience of the following or know whether it is possible.

Our security team are asking that we generate reports based on Cases, i.e.

Number of cases opened per month, etc

Average time from status open to closed across all the cases

Has anyone been able to do this ?

I don't see any way to do this but I definitely would like that feature as well. Reporting on incident types or rules hit is not as useful to me as reporting on cases, which I use to track incidents that warranted some form of response.
