Solved: IPSec on 2811

I have looked through the NetPro forums for a couple of days now and have not found my answer.

My question is, how do I setup an IOS based IPSec VPN tunnel using a 2811 with IOS os SP Services 12.4(13)?

Richard,

I was just looking at the feature navigator and it appears that the SP services IOS does not support Easy VPN. I would recommend using one of these feature sets:

Advanced Security

Advanced IP Services

Advanced Enterprise Services

You can order this feature set upgrade through your Cisco partner.

Richard,

Are you planning to connect two of these routers for your VPN tunnel? Attached is a template I created a while back and may be useful for you. Also you can use the SDM GUI to create the tunnels. If you don't have the SDM files they can be downloaded here.

Mark,

I am unable to input the command crypto isakmp...the only options under crypto are:

ca

engine

key

pki

provisioning

wui

What do I need to have in order to use VPN on this device?

I have attached a show version incase it may help.
