Dial from Missed Calls

Unanswered Question
Mar 18th, 2009

Does anyone have a clean method for allowing users to dial from the missed call file on the phones?

We use 9 for outside access code.

We don't want to prepend as the call comes in. (don't want the caller ID to see 91)

We are using 9.X method, not 9.@

We are blocked certain patterns i.e. 9.1900XXXXXXX

We don't want to disturb secondary dial tone

We don't want to disturb interdigit timeout.

Any suggestions, answers, thoughts with translations?

UCM 7.X. Gateways are MGCP and customer wants to keep them that way.

I have this problem too.

Hi Erin,

Have you looked in Service Parameters for the the Missed calls log.

You can edit with 9.

I looked in service parameters and I didn't see anything for missed calls.

Do you mean the service parameter for inbound national, international, subscriber, unknown? If so, the customer does not want to see the 91 and 9011 on the inbound caller id.
