Problem upgrading cisco 1841 to 12.4(15)T

I'm trying to upgrade my cisco 1841 to 12.4(15)T IOS (to use an additional network adapter) but for the moment I can't. I delete from flash:/ the old image file 12.4(3i) and then I upload, with tftp, the new file c1841-ipbasek9-mz.124-15.T.bin. When I do the reload the router can't boot and enter the rommon mode. The message is:

From the rommon mode I can reload the old good image file and restart the router correctely.

Riccardo,

It may be a sign the image is corrupted.

Upload the image once again and make sure to run a verify on the image before rebooting the router

The md5 output from the verify should match the md5 printed on the download page.

Hi Riccardo,

Try using the TFTPDNLD. It's alot faster than xmodem.
