I have a 2800 that I have receently installed an HWIC-FE1 card on. I am not able to see the interface after running the show run command.

I did the following:

-Powered down

-Installed the card

-Powered up

-Ran "Show Run"

-Ran "Config" and looked for interface types "int ?"

The only int types that show up are gigabitethernet and serail... No FastEthernet.

I ran the "Card Type ?" command under global config mode and only see an argument for t1 and e1...

Does this require an IOS upgrade? I'm trying to avoid that if at all possible. But, if it's an absolute must... I will upgrade. Please let me know!
