CUCM Gpickup

Hi ALL,

In CUCM 7.0, the user must press Gpickup and dial pickup group number like 555. is there any way for user only press Gpickup button and pickup incoming call from receptionist phone? we are only using one group pickup so it makes no sense to dial pickup group number.

any suggestion would be very appreciated.

Hi!

If you have only one group and users will pickup calls within that group only use the "Pickup" Softkey.

Please refer to:

"The Call Pickup feature allows users to pick up incoming calls within their own group. Cisco Unified Communications Manager automatically dials the appropriate call pickup group number when the user activates this feature from a Cisco Unified IP Phone. Use the softkey, PickUp, for this type of call pickup."
