router# copy flash: xmodem

Ok guys the above command is not working at all it should have coppied the image to the etherswitch module but it just renames the file and copy it in the router flash im pasting both the outputs.

It should work like that:

**** WARNING ****

settings of the auxiliary/console ports. The use of the auxiliary

port for this download is strongly recommended.

During the course of the download no exec input/output will be

Why are u trying to do xmodem, is the software corrupted?

All you need to do is copy the software on to the routers flash and set the boot parameters

eg.

router#copy tftp: flash:

Then use

service-module interface slot/port session

boot flash: image

HTH

Narayan

Yeh the IOS on the etherswitch is corrupted, and every time i take session it takes me to the ROMMON.

copy tftp: xmodem

Source filename [c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-35.SE5.bin]?

Destination filename [xmodem]?

You are actually renaming the file to xmodem

The flash shows that it has a 3750 image so just go into the service module and try to boot

The command you are trying to use (copy flash: xmodem) tells the appliance to copy A file from flash and NAME it as "xmodem".

Yeh i know that, but if you refer the guide it should ask me about the location of ether switch but it isn't.
