Hi,

Is it possible to capture packets passing through a specific physical Cat65k port via NAM. Or it has to be all ports/all traffic.

Thanks.

Sure. Just SPAN that port to one of the NAM's data ports. When you run a packet capture on the NAM, select the capture source as that data port.

Could you please specify the steps to SPAN a physical port to NAM's data port.

In my case, there is one active span session which has all the VLANs as the source, Dest. Port is Gi3/7 and Dest. Module is 3 on Cat65k.

Go to Setup > Data Sources. Create a new monitor session. Choose Switch Port as the SPAN type. Select your desired module, and data port on the NAM. Select the switch port from list of available sources, and click "Add". Finally, submit your changes. Now you're just spanning that one port.
