LMS unable to do user tracking on servers

I have a LMS 2.6. I am only able to do user tracking on client but not server. Why is this so? Do i need to turn on any settings?

What errors are you seeing trying to run UT acquisiton? what version of Campus Manager are you using?

my campus manager is 4.0.6

I see the UT acquisition there is only client ip and mac on the client switch.

For server switch i see only mac addresses, there are no hostname and ip.

Is there any setting that need to be configured?

For usertracking to work ciscoworks has to manage both the switch where the host connects to but also the defaultgate of the server.

The first to get the mac address, the second to make the relation with the IP address.

Check if the defaultgateway is managed by ciscoworks.
