how do isp's seperate traffic / IP

Hi all, can anyone tell me who isp' seperate customers traffic from each other, ie routing tables etc using shared core networks /atm, mpls etc ?

There are different ways. With MPLS they often use VRF's. Just google for more information. You should be able to find more specific answers based on more specific question.
