I am in the process of desiging a new CUCM 7.0 system and wanted to get some feedback on where within our corporate domain the system should be placed.
My end goal is to have LDAP integration so that I can pull user information from my active directory. I will also have a Unity Connection server and UCCX server.
What is the best practice on putting these servers within a domain?
Should they be placed in the ROOT or a Child domain?

Hi!
Please be aware that CUCMis an appliance that runs on a customized embedded operating system, and it cannot currently be added to a
Microsoft Active Directory domain. However, you can integrate the server with your LDAP directory. For more information, please refer to the
SRND:

HTH, if it does, please rate.
Regards,
Teresa.
