T1 PRI channels

Hi,

If a T1 Pri is assigned only 10 channels by SP, and I bundle full channels (24) on Cisco g/w, will CM route outbound calls to the channels that don't exist?

No. You need to configure the cisco devices for 10 channels also.

Is this MGCP or H323 gateway? Either way, the calls sent to the channels that don't exist on the PSTN switch will fail. CM doesnt know whether or not a particular B channel is actually in service. If the router is configured for a full PRI and you actually only have 10 channels, the gateway will still attempt to use the additional channels that you have configured. Therefore as Paolo stated, you should configure the cisco device only for the amount of channels that you actually have.
