hi,

i'm a problem with this command, My customer wants absolutely that I put this but all documents on cisco.com say "12.1 Command functionality was removed.".

i'm working on 3560 and 2960 with IOS 12.2(25) or 12.2(44).

it's possible by a cisco engineer or another ingineer to say me if Executing this command has no effect on the system ?

or more informations about it.

Thank you in advance

ps: How to show him or to prove him that this function does not work on the equipment?

Do you have a spare 2960 or 3560 lying around? You can also try this on other switches like the 2970 or 3750.

There's no better way to explain to someone other than a "show and tell". It worked for me several times without embarassing the other party. :)
