Rudy,

Ok...forget all the translation stuff. I just tested this on my CME in the lab.

just do:

config t

telephony-service

after-hours block pattern 1 9411 7-24

Hope that helped, if so please rate.

Hello,

Try this,

config t

telephony-service

after-hours block pattern 1 411 7-24

Hope that helped, if so please rate.

It applied successfully, but it still allows me to dial the number..?? I wrote to memory also..anything I'm missing?

I think the problem is that I have this number configured as a dial-peer..??

dial-peer voice 9411 pots

destination-pattern 9411

port 0/0/0:23

forward-digits 3

Hey Rudy,

I didn't realize it was you. Hows it going. Anyway, try this:

voice translation-rule 1

rule 1 reject /9411/

voice translation-profile reject411

translate called 1

dial-peer voice 9411 pots

translation-profile outgoing reject411

destination-pattern 9411

port 0/0/0:23

Hope that helped, if so please rate.

Yes Ken it's me...How are you--I see ur still fighting the battles..anyway here's the results and I can still make the calls. What am I missing?

EMI-CME2851#config t

Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.

EMI-CME2851(config)#tele

EMI-CME2851(config)#telephony-service

EMI-CME2851(config-telephony)#voice translation-rule 1

EMI-CME2851(cfg-translation-rule)#rule 1 reject /9411/

EMI-CME2851(cfg-translation-rule)#

EMI-CME2851(cfg-translation-rule)#voice translation-profile reject411

EMI-CME2851(cfg-translation-profile)#translate called 1

EMI-CME2851(cfg-translation-profile)#

EMI-CME2851(cfg-translation-profile)#dial-peer voice 9411 pots

EMI-CME2851(config-dial-peer)#translation-profile outgoing reject411

EMI-CME2851(config-dial-peer)#destination-pattern 9411

EMI-CME2851(config-dial-peer)#port 0/0/0:23

EMI-CME2851(config-dial-peer)#end

Can you do a debug voip dialpeer while making the call and post the output here, there may be another dialpeer that is allowing you to make the call.

There was another...

2: Dial-peer Tag=411

Wonderful!!! That was it the first time, but you didn't know the peer was setup using a 9...THanks for your help as always and it was good talking with you again.

Thanks,

Glad that worked and sorry for the runaround...I had to find a CME to test on.

Hope that helped, if so please rate.
