We have Contact centre enterprise 7.1
And have an issue where a user tries to log onto
"Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise Web Administration
Supervisor Login for Agent Re-skilling"
But when they try to log in, they get the below error message.
"
Unable to authenticate due to database connection failure
"
Any ideas?

Ha, I just ran into this issue myself and reinstalling is not an option, did you ever come up with a solution?

The link between a Java application like Dynamic Reskilling (through an Apache Tomcat container) and the C++ environment of the Config tool and related components is with the Cms_Jserver and CMSNode. I would turn up the trace and watch those two.

I opened a TAC case, the TAC engineer asked me to type 'exit' in 2 process windows 'CMSNode' and 'CMSJServer' to make them restart.
I did it and the issue was not resolved.
I just rebooted the server and it worked fine.

Yes, restarting fixed it, but still have no idea why it happened or how to resolve it without restarting the server.
