I have a remote UC520 configured to use NTP.

1 - The phones (7941)displpay a time 4 min different then the IOS, any idea why?

2 - Is there a way to see what time is displayed on the phones from within the IOS?

Thanks,

Andy

Hi Andy,

'show clock' on the router to see its time.

If it's correct and it's only 4 minutes off, I've never heard of something like that. The time is sent to the phone in SCCP updates. For this to happen it would require for the phone to not be receiving just the time updates, which is odd. That, or you're running an old version of phone firmware and it's a bug.

I would upgrade the phone firmware and check your clock on the router.

(Just because it's configured for NTP doesn't mean it's working. 'show ntp association' may help.)

2. No. It is sent to the phones, but the phones don't have a reason to acknowledge it and send it back to CME. You may want to check the phone web page - it is listed there though.
