Can you turn off the ringer & only see the lights on the lines located on the expansion module 7914 for incoming calls without affecting the volume to the calls that come in on the lines located on the 7960?

Hi!

There is a way in ccm admin pages to turn off ringer for a selected line/phone.

You need to go to Device--->Phone page and select an ip phone. Then you need to go to the line/directory number config for this phone and under the line configuration there are 2 fileds regarding the ringer:

Ring Setting (Phone Idle) Ring Setting (Phone Active) and you can disable it.

For more info, please refer to:

HTH, if it does please rate.

Have a nice day!

Teresa.

Regards, Tere. If you find this post helpful, please rate! :)
