Running Unified Call Connector Server on a Virtual Machine

So I just attempted to install UCC Server on a virtual machine, started the install, registered the license, and seemed to complete the setup all the way to the point where it would do start wizard for configuring it. At this point, it notified me that I could not run the setup on a virtual machine. So now I have the software installed, but no way to configure it, and of course its not working.

Is there a work around for this? And if not, is there a way to move the license to a different machine?

Thanks,

Derek

Derek,

Although the following is not supported, I have the CallConnector Server running on VMware in our demo environment.  We are running VMWare ESXi as the virtual server (it should work with all versions of VMware).  I edited the VMX file to contain the following:

isolation.tools.getPtrLocation.disable = "true"
isolation.tools.setPtrLocation.disable = "true"
isolation.tools.setVersion.disable = "true"
isolation.tools.getVersion.disable = "true"

monitor_control.disable_directexec = "true"
monitor_control.disable_chksimd = "true"
monitor_control.disable_ntreloc = "true"
monitor_control.disable_selfmod = "true"
monitor_control.disable_reloc = "true"
monitor_control.disable_btinout = "true"
monitor_control.disable_btmemspace = "true"
monitor_control.disable_btpriv = "true"
monitor_control.disable_btseg = "true"

This will of course cause a performance hit.
