multiple use of a probe cause failure randomly

Hi all,

If I use the probe of a serverfarm, in another serverfarm as a second probe (or logic), the probe randomly fails in the second serverfarm, but works in the first. It does not matter what kind of probes I use. I have tried http, and tcp probes. If I create a probe with different name, but identical function in the second farm, the situation is the same.It seems that it is a bug, but I did not find anything relating this in the release notes.

The main function I would like to achive is that if the number first server fail in the first farm. The number first server should be go down in the second farm.

Thanks all your reply in advance.

Regards,

Szilard

what platform ?

What software ?

Did you capture a sniffer trace to see if probes are sent and if a response is received ?

G.

Hi Gilles,

ACE module A2(1.2)

Yes I have captured and the server answered to the GET requests.

if you don't have too many probe traffic, you can try 'debug hm error' and 'debug hm info mask 0x7ffff' to get more information.
