ACE - Shared VLANS

Hi everybody,

I have a new costumer with 3 vlans in her network (vlan7, vlan4 y vlan148) and bought an ACE module.

I read in the “Routing and Bridging Configuration Guide” that a ACE support share Vlans: Multiple vlans interfaces within the same subnet in different contexts. Also says that only routed interfaces can be shared.

If in one context the Vlan7 is working in bridge mode, then it can NOT be in routing mode in another context?

Thanks and Regards,

PM

correct.

If you configure the bvi-group under one vlan, this vlan can't be used in any other context.

Gilles.
