SACS Case Sensitive

Unanswered Question

Hi to all.

I need that the Cisco ACS doesn't difference the upper to the lower case in the password.

I've checked that the user isn't case sensitive, but the password is already case sensitive.

The problem is with the mac authentication. My client have 3Com switches that some of them sends the mac address in lower case, and others send the mac in upper case.

If a client move between the office, they can take ports with upper/lower case mac address.

The switchs are all with the same firmware and the same model.

Any idea?

Thanks.

Unfortunately you will not be able to accomplish that with ACS. It will remember the passwords as case sensitive.
