What problems are you having? backup failing to connect to the server ? Some files not backing up?
In general, your UM server (as it will be a member server in your corporate domain) shouldn't require anything specific beyond what's documented for it:
- Ensure you are using open file/Exchange/SQL agents appropriately
- If you have CSA installed and enabled, try disabling it. The standalone CSA may not have rules compatible with your backup software - if you disable it you should ensure you are running up to date AV and OS patches (which you should, of course be doing anyway :-)
