Dears;

When I use the below command

ZMad-POP-C3845#sh flash:

System CompactFlash directory:

File Length Name/status

1 18668672 c3845-ipbase-mz.124 17b.bin

2 532480 c3845-adventerprisek9-mz.124-4.T.bin [deleted]

3 339968 c3845-adventerprisek9-mz.124-4.T.bin [deleted]

4 1269760 c3845-advipservicesk9-mz.124-19.bin [deleted]

5 2084864 c3845-advipservicesk9-mz.124-19.bin [deleted]

[64225276 bytes used, 0 available, 64225276 total]

62720K bytes of ATA System CompactFlash (Read/Write)

I found some flash files deleted but still utilize the flash and I want to clear it and erase it ONLY the files with keyword [deleted]?

Try "squeeze flash:". (Don't forget the ":" at the end.)

dear leolaohoo

Thx alot and i did it and it is ok now.

NB:

At some point in the future, you might try a "format" rather than an "erase" of the flash. (Warning, both command will remove all flash contents.) If flash supports "format", deleted files will recover space without need for a "squeeze".

Hi Joseph,

The reason why I didn't want to recommend "format flash:" is because of the presence of a valid IOS.

Leo,

Your answer was quite correct for the question asked. The OP made it quite clear ONLY deleted files were to be erased. My suggestion was directed to avoid the issue in the future, not a recommendation it be done now.

Dears;

Ok now by using " squeeze flash: " command.

Thx alot for all.
