Hi,
I got the below mentioned error message in my Cisco 7606 router.
Can someone let me know the reason which caused this error message and what action to be taken to resolve it if there is some issue. This device was being remotely accessed and no one was physically present near the device @ the time this happened. The command which was executed just before the event and the logs found on the device when this issue happened is attached.
Thanks in advance
AneesH

Hello Aneesh,
I don't know the IOS release that is running on your C7600.
I did a search for C7600 release 12.2(33)SRD with key SSO.
of the 31 bugs listed the following could apply
CSCsd24224
SSO: standby reloads due to config sync error atno exception crashinfo
Conditions: This symptom is observed when a Stateful Switchover (SSO) occurs
and when the no exception crashinfo file
device:filename command is in present in the configuration.
Workaround: Enable the creation of a diagnostic file by entering the
exception crashinfo file
Fixed-In
12.4(7.12)M
12.2(31)SB
12.2(33)SRC
12.2(33)SXH
An IOS upgrade if you have an older release may solve this issue.
However, you can get a better feedback from TAC I've just provided an example of a likely bug.
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Hello Aneesh,
the standby supervisor has been reloaded for some reasons, as an effect of the power cycle on the module an OIR message has been produced but nobody has removed and then inserted the module.
It is difficult to say why the standby processor has been reloaded.
It was under a request of the RF redundancy feature code.
Mar 30 14:54:10.442 : %OIR-SP-3-PWRCYCLE: Card in module 6, is being power-cycled (RF request)
From a practical point of view if this happens again it is wise to open a service request about SSO operation on this chassis.
The commands you have given look like correct (notation should be ASN:value for route targets and RDs)
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Hi Giuseppe,
Thank you very much for the reply.
Since its a standby sup, its not affecting. But my worry is about the primary sup. The router under discussion is one of our core router and we can't afford if the same happens with Primary Sup. So would you advice us to create a TAC request for the same. Any known bugs for the same as per your knowledge?

Dear Guiseppe,
Thank you very much for your reply.
This issue was due to a cisco bug
Cisco Bug ID: CSCsk04318
You were really helpful.

Hello Aneesh,
this one is a much better fit for you case.
So the speed of commands can be a problem with SSO.
Best Regards
Giuseppe
