If a switch dies, how do I get another switch and get/load the configuration from Cisco Works? What is the process? I am running Cisocworks LMS 3.0.1.
Thanks!

The first thing you need to do is add basic manageability to the switch. This means you need to add an IP address, SNMP credentials and telnet/SSH credentials at the very least. This also assumes the new switch will have the same address and config as the old one.
Go to RME > Config Mgmt > Config Editor, and open the config for the old switch. Make sure the config looks okay, then click the Deploy button. Choose the Merge option (NOT Overwrite). Then you're done.
