UCCX 5.0 no longer uses SQL mixed mode authentication. You can enable it through the command line or by loading Enterprise Manager on the UCCX server and changing the properties of the SQL server. In that case, you can just create a new user account and give it access to the CRS databases. Remember that UCCX does not use the default instance, it uses the CRSSQL instance, so you will need to reffer to that instance when logging in. One other note in turning the mixed mode authentication on is that the Historical reporting clients will no longer be able to connect to the database. Take a look at the following post for a workaround for this if you choose to turn mixed mode on.
