We have VMO 7 installed on Outlook 2007, with Unity 5. Using the IP Phone as the playback device works fine with a physical phone.
when we connect over a PPTP VPN using CIPC it doesn't work. All other IPT stuff works fine.
We get an error message "Unknown problems are preventing the connection to the server". If we trace the packets from Unity we see that it never tries to set up the call when you click playback on VMO.
We use extension mobility and log on to a 7960 in the office and CIPC when out.
Oh, and yes, we have set the Unity IP address in VMO not CallManager....
