Hi,
UCCX ver 7.0 Premium.
I created a test file with one contact.
When I import the file, I get the following message:
File name Test Outbound.txt
Number of contacts imported successfully:1
Contacts with invalid phone01 field not imported.
Number of contacts not imported:4
Invalid phone number fields are not allowed.
Please could somebody explain what this means? I've copied the details of the file below (is there a problem with the syntax?):
accountNumber,firstName,lastName,phone01,phone02,phone03
3549,Joe,Bloggs,441159009007,11702,11705
Thanks

You don't need this line in your csv file.
firstName,lastName,phone01,phone02,phone03

You have carriage returns in your csv file. Remove them and the error will go away. Please rate if this does the trick.

Hi
Thanks for the quick response. I now get:
Number of contacts imported successfully:1
Contacts with invalid phone01 field not imported.
Number of contacts not imported:1
Invalid phone number fields are not allowed.
Does this mean that I have successfully imported the contact?
PS Sorry to ask a dumb question, first time I've configured outbound dialer!!

Post your .txt file.
To see number of contact, go to subsystems, outbound, campaigns, look at remaining contacts.

Hi
Under subsystems> outbound> campaigns the remaining contacts is 1.
Under campaign report I see a status of pending.
Problem is that the dialer does not present the Agent with a pop up window.
In CDA I have checked the 'Direct Preview' mode in the user interface window.
I've attached the file that I uploaded

No file attached.

Hi,
I attached the file a few times (done this before on another post so its worked in the past) but the file isn't getting attached. Maybe the system is still checking for viruses?
Anyway, I've copied and pasted the .txt details below:
firstName,lastName,phone01,phone02,phone03
Joe,Blogs,441159009007,11702,11705

Hi, have you try if the second number of your list is dialed??..because when I upload my list the outbound system dials the first phone number, but never the second one.

Hi
I tested using contacts with two numbers. It worked fine for me. I used the CSV file attached (I ammended the names and phone numbers).
I was using UCCX 7-0-1-SR2.
Its possible that you are hitting the following bug:
CSCsx26644
Outbound Dialer will not advance to next phone number in record
This is fixed in UCCX 7-0-1-SR3

Yeah my .txt is like that, maybe I am running through that bug, as I told you in the other thread, my UCCX is a 5.0(2)SR02_Build045

One question my friend, when the second phone number of the first contact of your list is dialed, it is dialed right after the first phone number was dialed?..or you have to wait for the system to dial the other members of the list to then dial the second phone number of the first person?

You have to wait for the system to dial the other members of the list to then dial the second phone number of the first person.
Same condition applies for answerring machine, fax if there is a second number, these numbers are dialed after the first number of all members in the list have been dialed.
