ping replies

Seeing this from a server from a simple 1400 byte ping. Why would we see this from a server from a simple ping and could this slow down performance? Why would the server source quence a simple ping reply? This is behind a load balancer so I don't know if that is causing a issue or not. The interface down to the load balancer is not busy at all.

Sending 1000, 1400-byte ICMP Echos to 10.33.4.28, timeout is 2 seconds:

Glen, the "Q" means source quench. Its the servers way of protecting itself from a DoS attack. It's trying to tell the source of the PINGs to CHILL THE HECK OUT! :-)
