All,

If running OSPF over MLPPP, will the cost increase if one link in the bundle fails?

Thanks,

The cost is derived from the interface bandwidth value. When one link fails the bandwidth value changes accordingly hence the cost.

Will EIGRP do the same?

Yes, its composite metric uses bandwidth value from the interface as part of the calculation.

Note:

What Edison is suggesting, assumes the interface isn't explictly OPSF costed (which is most often the case).

Also note, if you work with Brand X, it might not support OSPF costing automatically derived from interface's bandwidth (and if it does, if may also use a different base cost then Cisco's default 100 Mbps = 1).
