Autotunnel in single route processor scenario

Answered Question
Mar 31st, 2009

Just to be totally sure. Autotunnel is incompatible with single route processor systems, e.g. an 7600 with only one supervisor installed, as it would be configures with stateful switchover (SSO) by default.

I have this problem too.

Hi,

It's supported as any other feature. What is not supported is autotunnel is not SSO aware so during a switchover, your tunnel will flap and you will loose traffic.

Hi Laurent

Thanks for your reply. This is why Netpro is great... Just to clarify the manuals :)

Lars
