Hi I would like to use VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 card on cisco 2811 to connect 2 T1 lines and acheive full 2*1.54 Mbps of link speed. Wanted to know if there is any concept of structured & unstructured T1. What is it generally provided by a carrier in US - structured or unstructured? If Structured, is there any loss of link bandwidth.

Thanks.

Structured T1 means channelised T1 meaning you can define individual channels based on timeslots.

For eg a hub site running FR may have 15 different channels with each channel representing a FR PVC to 15 remote sites

Unstructured T1 means one fat pipe of 1.5 Mbps which cannot be split into smaller channelised links

The VWIC2-MFT would support both
