Can anyone please suggest me how we can allocate 1mbps to Skpye application and priotize the vioce on Skype.

This will enable nbar discovery on your router.

Cisco released IOS version 12.4 (4) T. Cisco introduced much awaited Skype classification in NBAR.

NBAR configuration for Skype packets:

class-map match-any p2p

match protocol skype

policy-map Allow-p2p

class p2p

bandwidth 1024

int FastEthernet0

description WAN_INterface

service-policy input Allow-p2p

I am not sure about your platform where you need to do this

As per Cisco 12.4(4)T Cisco IOS XE Release 2.1 supports classification of skype traffic using NBAR

Yes on Release 12.4(4)T. Cisco software supports Skype 1.0, 2.5, and 3.0

can we prioritize the Vioce traffic on Skype or its by default takes priority ?

if has to configured can you plese suggest.
