We have multiple E1's running between two sites in a group as a Multilink. If one of the link goes down then how do we monitor these links and get aware about the disconnectivity.
In Detailed Device View you would ensure that the two physical E1's are managed, as well you should ensure that the multilink is also managed. You will then get traps on the physicals and if the mulitlink goes down you will get a trap too.
Both the individual E1's and the multilink are managed, but the problem is when i monitor it through various tools I can only monitor the status of the multilink. I don't get the individual status of the E1's.
