I have installe the softphone on an end users laptop. When I test it, the dial tone is choppy, and when I listen to the voicemail it sounds as though it is in slow motion. Never had this probem before.

Probably the laptop is the problem rather than anything else?
Have you checked the CPU, memory etc. Use PerfMon to view the output..

I did figure out the probem, I just needed to install a newer version of the IP communicator, but thanks for the response.
