VA has passed e911 legislature. We have to implement it with any new buildings after July 1, 2009. Has anyone else had to implement this? If so, how did you go about it? We currently send the the number of the building and address but not the individual phone extensions within the building. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Hi Wushuspinner,
The users of IP phones in this part of the community typically use the SPA9000 Voice System which provides call-control for up to 16 IP phones so they may not run into this as much as others with larger systems.
Anyone else out there with some additional insight?
Regards,
Patrick

Thanks for the input. We are currently running centralized CM 6.0 with cisco 2800 routers at each building as their gateway. Each building has around 50 or more phones. Anyone out there have a similar situation?

This community is for Small Business products. My advice is that you contact your pre-sales representative with Cisco so they can provide design guidelines pertaining to your solution.
